LifeSpark Cancer Resources is a nonprofit volunteer service organization focused on the use of energy therapies to provide support and healing for individuals with cancer.
We are excited to offer its holistic approach to care for individuals that have been diagnosed with cancer. At LifeSpark you can expect to find exceptionally caring providers that offer next generation Reiki and Healing Touch wellness therapies that help people to feel better. In fact, nearly 80% of LifeSpark participants report a significant improvement in physical and emotional well-being.
LifeSpark serves adults with any type and any stage of cancer, and sessions are provided at greatly reduced sliding-scale fees depending on household income. This year LifeSpark expects to expand its services to 145 participants with 2,000 session hours.
We have added a new site for cancer patients living in the mountains. We are particularly grateful to St. Laurence Church in Conifer, Colo, for providing space for this important service.
It is LifeSpark’s mission to create a climate of mutual respect between medical and complementary professionals in a holistic model of care. The organization offers sessions at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Longmont, Littleton, Lone Tree and Aurora, at Denver Health Medical Center, and at a number of local churches from Longmont to Colorado Springs.
