Express Yourself

David and Bethany Desch took over Express Yourself in March of 2009 with the intention of infusing new life, love and energy into the store while maintaining superior quality and customer service.
Express Yourself continues to offer superior custom cards and invitations, and also offers an expansive selection of greeting cards and unique, whimsical and beautiful gifts.
David and Bethany have also brought with them a commitment to include eco-friendly, fair-trade, handmade and locally produced products. “At Express Yourself, you can truly feel that you are purchasing gifts from the heart. Shop locally and go green!” they said.
David and Bethany are deeply grateful for this amazing community and for the new and returning customers who have allowed them to have a successful first year.

Highland Haven Creekside Inn

At a charmed location nestled along 400 feet of the lulling Bear Creek, Highland Haven is just a short stroll from downtown Evergreen’s galleries, winery, live music, boutiques, coffee shops and Evergreen Lake.
It offers luxury suites, cottages, junior suites and guest rooms. Premium rooms offer Jacuzzi tubs, private hot tubs, flickering fireplaces, flat-screen TVs, king beds and fluffy bath robes.
Included in the room rate is a generous home-made breakfast with recipes featured in “Colorado Cravings,” owner Gail Riley’s new book.
Treat yourself and your loved one to a romantic celebration in the beautiful, wooded setting. Opt for the champagne or port tray ready in your room upon arrival. “Romance is our specialty, earning the inn numerous awards,” Gail said. “Ideal for business, we offer the most memorable meeting spaces coupled with accommodations expressly designed for the discriminating businessperson.”

Aloha Marketplace

Twenty-five years ago, local Conifer resident Barbie Graham-Meier and her family chose the Big Island of Hawaii for their vacation home. Two years ago she opened Aloha Marketplace, bringing the “Aloha spirit” to the area.
You will find ladies vacation and cruise wear, plus a large variety of men’s Aloha shirts and Aloha wear for children (all proudly made in Hawaii). To diversify, Barbie, a lifelong dancer, added action fitness and dance wear.
There are Aloha gift baskets, 100% Kona Coffee, macadamia nuts, Pacific Rim sauces, salad dressing, spice mix, sea salt, Hawaiian pancake mix, coconut, guava syrup and jams. Collectors will find Bavarian China, vintage cups, vases, Austrian table linens and dolls from Germany, unique gift bags, Leanin’ Tree greeting cards and wrapping accessories.  And there are colorful reading and sunglasses.
The Aloha Marketplace is referred to as “the drug store without the drugs.” It’s packed full of surprises.
